The success of any diet plan depends upon how satisfied we feel after our meals. Nutritionists term this as satiety – the feeling of fullness. If this feeling is not there then there are 99% chances that even most determined dieter with the best diet plan will fail.
When on a diet plan we tend to eliminate total or a lot of fat from our diets. Here we need to understand that certain amount of fat in the diet is necessary since as it acts as the ignition for burning calories and maintenance of the metabolic processes.
It also helps to give us that "satisfied" feeling when we have completed a meal. However, in the quest to trim pounds, people often decide to eliminate fat completely and replace it with foods of little to no nutritive value known as "empty calories" thus leaving us craving for food, even though we may have consumed many calories, this way our body and brain feel completely deprived, and since weight management plans usually take 3-4 months to show their result even the most determined dieter give up.
